Flying & Gliding
These two activities set us apart from other youth organisations and can be the deciding factor for new cadets joining. Flying is done
in Grob Tutors. You will arrive at the Air Experience Flight (AEF) centre, watch a safety video so you know exactly what
to do in case of emergencies before being kitted out in flight suits and parachutes.
Once up in the air you will be given the opportunity to fly the Tutor yourself and experience aerobatics such as; barrel rolls, loops and stall turns. Gliding is done in Grob Vigilants and can be a similar experience to flying. Both are enjoyable experiences and everyone has their favourite choice. Whilst waiting for others to have their flight you will have a chance to talk to other cadets from nearby squadrons and watch TV or play on a games console.
