This website has been design and built by Sergeant Skentelbery A and Cadet Whiteley. The majority of the work has been done using notepad alone which was a hefty task! We have used CSS and XHTML to build the website and stick to the W3C Web Standards where possible, though we understand there are a few little things that need tweaking to completely meet the web standards.
When building this website we have taken many different things into consideration - is it accessible? Is our colour scheme awkward and makes it difficult to read? Is the font easy to read? We want this website to be accessible by all.
Although the site has been designed and built by two cadets, all cadets are encouraged to participate whether it be submitting an article, taking a picture, modifying the graphics or making a suggestion for a new section. Over the coming months and year we hope to follow a developement plan that includes an image gallery, forum and password protected cadet area to improve the website.
We want this website to be useful to current cadets by providing a range of resources but also help new cadets find out more about the Corps and hopefully encourage them to join.
